2015 GPS Syrah, Mrachek Vineyard

This wine offers a subtle contrast of fresh red fruit and hints of dry aromatic herbs. The red plummy palate is bright and distinctive, reinforced by nuances of sweet oak and a rustic finish.

This is a nicely layered Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses the typical nuances of Stone Tree Vineyard. Initially it hits you with dark fruit notes of black cherry, blackberry and black currant. It then leads in to secondary characteristics of tea, tobacco and sweet cedar. It is explosive with fruit and caramel on the palate.

This Syrah is like a fathomless black hole of condensed fruit and smoky spices densely rich with aromas of smoked blackberries and blueberries hinting of BBQ. Resilient tannins give it a girth that holds up to its weight and unctuous character.

This Malbec is all about fruit. It has big bold flavors of chocolate covered raspberries, black plum and boysenberry without lending too much towards a jammy profile. Bright fruit lingers throughout the palate and leads to a lengthy, smooth finish with just a hint of black pepper and leather in the background.

This Cabernet has extreme concentration filled with layers of ripe vibrant black fruit which is rich and bold while maintaining its refined beauty.

This complex wine is full of both black and red fruits. Aromas dominant of black currant, cherry and boysenberry are intermixed with more subtle aromas of tea leaf, pie crust and warm spices. The palate is densely structured yet lively and full of fruit, caramel and cocoa all of which are balanced with a nice acidic backbone.

This Rhone style Syrah delivers rich aromatics of huckleberry, lavender and smoke that capture the essence of Syrah from this region. Replete flavors of supple blueberry and plum lead to a distinctive blueberry finish and refined, ripe tannins.

This is an elegant, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with the vineyard's identifiable dried herb and subtle fennel notes. Tannins are beautifully textured which adds subtle structure with emphasis on sumptuous style.
