2014 GPS Malbec, Jones Vineyard

This wine opens with fresh ripe aromatics of red plum, blueberries, spice and caramel. There is bright acidity on the palate. The wine was aged on lees to give it a soft silky body and finish.

This wine offers a subtle contrast of fresh red fruit and hints of dry aromatic herbs. The red plummy palate is bright and distinctive, reinforced by nuances of sweet oak and a rustic finish.

This is a nicely layered Cabernet Sauvignon that expresses the typical nuances of Stone Tree Vineyard. Initially it hits you with dark fruit notes of black cherry, blackberry and black currant. It then leads in to secondary characteristics of tea, tobacco and sweet cedar. It is explosive with fruit and caramel on the palate.

Dark aromatics fill the glass, blackberry and dried current make way for black pepper, dried leaves, and cigar box. Broad flavors of blueberry open the palate leading to plush tannin. Long supple finish with hints of dark chocolate.

This Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon is firm and powerful without losing focus. Aromas of dust and earth give way to a rich structure and vibrant, ripe fruit flavors of concentrated black fruit, which are a unique characteristic from the Stone Tree Vineyard.

This Syrah is deeply complex and layered. It opens with aromatics of blackberries, blueberries, cedar and floral hints of dried violets. The palate is dense and savory; full of blue fruits, black pepper, black olive and savory herbs and spices.

This complex wine is full of both black and red fruits. Aromas dominant of black currant, cherry and boysenberry are intermixed with more subtle aromas of tea leaf, pie crust and warm spices. The palate is densely structured yet lively and full of fruit, caramel and cocoa all of which are balanced with a nice acidic backbone.
