2015 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Stone Tree Vineyard

We brought together a variety of different Cabernet clones from a select few vineyards sprinkled throughout the Horse Heaven Hills for this blend to really showcase the best this appellation had to offer for the vintage. This created a deeply layered wine full of bold dark fruit, earth and elegant smooth tannins.

Dark aromatics fill the glass, blackberry and dried current make way for black pepper, dried leaves, and cigar box. Broad flavors of blueberry open the palate leading to plush tannin. Long supple finish with hints of dark chocolate.

The Clone 2 Cabernet Sauvignon is very expressive, fruit forward, and layered. It has big hits of jammy ripe fruit, dark berries and dried fruit that carry through the palate. A more delicate and refined structure and finish.

The Clone 5 Cabernet Sauvignon imparts multiple layers of black and red fruit on the palate with hints of wood smoke. It is a well- textured wine that is luscious and silky with a persistent finish.

Aromas of chocolate, cherry and slight mint precede a palate of cocoa and black cherry flavors. This is an intense, complex wine that culminates in the perfect balance of wood and fruit on the finish.

The wine opens up with densely packed aromas of plum, black cherry and currants. The mid palate is rich with flavors of licorice and chocolate and give way to a powerful finish that shows depth, weight and complexity.

This red blend brings out the best of each variety into a very expressive and interesting wine. It opens with aromas of cranberry compote, blackberry and cocoa which lead into hints of wet stone, savory herbs and black olives. This wine is delicate with a refined, smooth finish.

This is an elegant, full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon with the vineyard's identifiable dried herb and subtle fennel notes. Tannins are beautifully textured which adds subtle structure with emphasis on sumptuous style.
